BioProcess Operator

BioLamina is looking for skilled, well-organized, and meticulous BioProcess Operators. You will be part of the production team, producing human recombinant laminins that are sold as a culturing platform for different types of primary cells. To meet ISO 9001 and QMS criteria, the manufacturing is carried out in compliance with defined processes (Adherent and Suspension cells), established procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
The BioProcess Operator actively participates in all production areas where they are competent to do so, working both individually and in groups. Responsible for tasks that are assigned under the department's general purview.
- Production of recombinant proteins according to written procedures for which training and certification has been received.
- Adherent and suspension cell processes; upstream or downstream operations, media, and buffer preparations; equipment handling and cleaning; materials handling; production and facility support.
- Documentation of activities according to QMS by recording events in for example BPRs, logbooks, stock cards as well as reporting of unexpected events in applicable reports.
- Identify and participate in deviations investigations, CAPA and change control activities.
- Update SOPs and BPRs.
- In charge of managing production system, e.g., responsibility of equipment according to equipment and FMS on-call responsibility lists.
Qualifications:
- Higher Vocational Education (YH utbildning) and/or a minimum of 2 years working experience as a BioProcess Operator, in the chemical, biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- A laboratory science background and/or previous experience of working within upstream or downstream processing.
- Basic computer skills, Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Merit if you have:
- Experience in cell culturing and chromatographic purification.
- Handling experiences of large-scale production process.
- Experience in biotechnological production of recombinant proteins, aseptic working technique, and cleanrooms.
- Working according to GMP.
- Swedish language.
